The three main privacy parameters for containers are findability, visibility, and membership. Those parameters allow the admins to be in full control of who can see what content and how users can become members of their container.
Findability: who can find the container in searches and lists
Visibility: who can view the content of the container
Findability is different from visibility in that a container can be found in search yet if the user does not have visibility rights they will only see the title of the container
