<aside> 🔏 By default, documents inherit the privacy settings of the containers. i.e., only users who have visibility access to the container can see the documents. JOGL docs visibility settings can be customized further.

The purpose of the documents section is to centralize all the relevant content for the container. it can be content from external platforms, file uploads, or content directly generated on JOGL. There are three ways to create a document: share a link to an external platform, upload a document, create a JOGL doc.
There are two main shortcuts to create a document:
1. Create button in the navbar from anywhere in JOGL
Select “Document”
Then select in the dropdown which container to create the document in. You can only select a container where you have admin rights, or where admins gave members the right to create a document.
On all container, members have access to the “+” shortcut. If you have the right to create a document in the container, you will be able to click on “Document”.
The goal of JOGL is not to create another platform where everything needs to be migrated. The goal is simply to centralize the references to the different tools your team is using.
We automatically recognize links such as Github, Google Drive, OneDrive, Notion etc …
Users can upload any type of file format. e.g., PDF, Doc, CSV, Excel, PNG, MP4 etc …
