A proposal in an object you can only create from the ‣ container via the “Apply” button. A proposal is an submission to a Call for Proposal.
Answering a call for proposals may help you access various opportunities, funding or recognition in a community.
(You must have an existing project on JOGL to be able to apply and submit a proposal)
Example: The “Cable Bacteria for Electronics” Community has launched a Call for Proposals. You already have a project on JOGL called ‘Biopower’ and you can see from the description that aligns well with the Call. You can put together a Proposal - follow the the Rules and Questions the organizer has set. If your proposal is accepted, you will get a message from the organizer.
Navigate to the Call page. Click “Start Application” in the header of the Call. Remember you must link your proposal to an existing Project you manage on JOGL.
Go through the set of questions the organizers of the Call for Proposals have set for you, and answer them carefully. You can save you proposal to draft, and go back to it several times before submitting. If the status is “Not Submitted” you can still work on the draft:
There are specific deadlines to respect which are outlined in the Call page. Make sure to submit before the deadline:
Once all the proposals have been reviewed, your proposal gets a score, which you will be able to see on your proposal under “status’. It will either be a score, or a binary decision: positively reviewed, or rejected:
The Organizers will post on the Discussion tab who the winners are.
