**A Paper or Publication is a published article or pre-print. We created this object so you can have an overview of the knowledge produced in your Hub or Community , have a way to easily view it on JOGL, and build on it through the Note function for example.
Option 1 : Search by Database or DOI
To add your published papers to JOGL, navigate to your profile. There are several ways you can do it:
→ Simply click on the “+” button under your name and short description → OR, navigate to the “Papers” tab in your profile page
When you click “Add Papers” the following pop-up will appear.
You can add papers by searching them on OpenAlex, SemanticScolar or PubMed* Simply select which platform your paper is on, write in the title and select the correct one.
*These three sources are vast databases of publications facilitating accessible and comprehensive research resources for academics and researchers. OpenAlex hosts 78+ million scholarly papers, Semantic Scholar indexes over 200 million research publications and PubMed contains over 32 million citations for life-science focuses research.
When you click on the “+” sign next the title of the paper, it will automatically add it to you profile and appear in your “Papers” tab, as well as in your “Library” tab, for others to see, and you to have centralized.
If this doesn’t work, simply choose “Search by DOI” and insert the DOI number or full DOI link directly in the prompt. The corresponding paper will appear.
Option 2: Import via ORCID
When you register on JOGL, you have the opportunity to connect via your ORCID account, as opposed to your google account or email. Enter your details for your JOGL and ORCID accounts to be linked.
